Will this fit my Mossberg Maverick 88?

Crimson Trace dos not have this Item listed as being compatible with the Maverick 88 shotgun. According to Crimson Trace, "Fits Mossberg 500, 590 & 590 Shockwave in 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge only. Models must have receiver that is drilled and tapped. Does not fit .410 Bore.".

Will this laser site work on the Mossberg Shockwave in 20-gauge?

We spoke with Crimson Trace who explained that due to differences in the receivers between the 12ga and 20ga models, the 20ga models will stretch the unit a bit. As a result, while it might be possible to install it on a 20ga model, they will not warranty the unit and are not liable for any damage to the firearm if something were to go wrong.

Which shell holders are compatible with this on Mossberg 590? Was going to get the one from Mesa but looks like both utilize the same trigger screw

Can you remove the trigger group pin once installed?

The Crimson Trace LS-250 Lasersaddle Laser Sight for Mossberg uses an included pin that replaces the trigger group pin for installation. To remove the trigger group you will need to remove this installation pin.

Crimson Trace does mention free batteries for life with the Crimson Trace LS-250 Lasersaddle Laser Sight for Mossberg. I recommend contacting Crimson Trace in regards to the specifics of that offer.

People have said, the CT Lasersaddle does work with SOME side saddle shell holders. Can anyone recommend one that holds 6 rds? Mesa Tactical? GG&G?

The Crimson Trace LS-250 Lasersaddle model for Mossberg Shotguns can be used with the Pro Mag Shell Holder For Mossberg 500/590 Shotguns. That shell holder can be found at the link below.

It appears that 2 different models are being offered for the same price. What are the differences between the two?

The Crimson Trace LS-250 Lasersaddle Laser Sight model number 01-7810 is for Mossberg Shotguns and fits the Mossberg Shockwave, 500 and 590. The Crimson Trace LS-250 Lasersaddle Laser Sight model number 01-7980 fits Remington 870 Shotguns.

where is the serial number

The serial number for the laser is located on a little white sticker on the underside of the laser.

Will this work with the newer mossberg 500 ati tactical 12ga. Receiver is drilled and tapped to accept shell holders.

The Crimson Trace LS-250 Lasersaddle Laser Sight will only fit the Shockwave,500 & 590 Receivers. So it should fit although Crimson Trace does not specify for the ATI Tactical.
