Yes, the Crimson Trace Rail Master Laser Sight & Tactical Light System has separate switches for the laser and light.

No, it has a push button for power and a rotary switch to select the mode (light/laser/both). The tape switch performs the same function as the push button. It can be used with the tape switch or without.
I guess anyone can be an “Expert” and give an incorrect answer rather than admit that they have no idea.
