Is the rechargeable battery built in or is is like a regular rechargable cr123a battery you can take out and replace?

The CMR-207 takes a replaceable single 123 lithium battery, it doesn't use a rechargeable battery.

The Crimson Trace CMR-207 Rail Master Pro Laser Sight & Tactical Light System is not compatible with the P365. This is because the P365 uses a proprietary rail system. There are lights designed specifically for the P365 proprietary rail such as the TLR-8 Sub. The TLR-8 Sub is similar to this weapon light as it combines both a light and laser in the same housing. The correct model TLR-8 Sub for a P365 can be found by using the link below:
