While the draw weight is 185lbs, it doesn't actually take that much force to draw. With the included draw tool, it's easier than you would expect thanks to the compound pulley system.

That will be fairly dependent on distances, but as long as you are within an appropriate range/distance, this crossbow could be used for hunting. The scope has no yardage specification as it is a fixed 4x magnification scope.
Unfortunately Crossman the manufacturer makes no mention of part compatibility in regards to the furniture (stock, grip, etc) for this crossbow. The stock does appear to be a standard AR buttstock, but you would want to reach out to Crossman directly to have them confirm compatibility.
It is highly recommended that you use the included bolts or bolts that are similar that use half-moon nocks.
