how is this different from the model J-1415?

J-1422 uses "Black Flash" LED's which are no glow IR with 940nm LEDs, 940nm LEDs are completely invisible with no red glow with an approximate 50+ yard range

J-1415 uses "Long Range IR" LED's which are infrared with 850nm LEDs, 850nm LEDs provide best IR image quality and longest range with an approximate range of 100 feet.
