This Daniel Defense Pistol Grip With Oversized Trigger Guard is designed to be installed replacing your existing trigger guard. If you decided to cut it off for any reason, it would still be tight as it mounts using a standard AR15 grip screw. However, Daniel Defense does make this grip without the integrated trigger guard that you can find using the following link:
