Yes, the DPM Recoil Rod Reducer System for Springfield will work in a Springfield XD-M Elite with a 4.5" barrel. You will need model MS-SPR/5.

hello I have a xdm-osp 3.8" in 9mm ms-spr/6 . I also have a xd 5" in 45acp and I'm looking at the ms-spr/4 ,would these fit and make a difference

Hello, this system is compatilbe only for your XD 5" .45ACP, for your XDM 3.8" 9mm the compatible systems are the SKU: 1000048 or 1000210.

Hi Eric, no it is not compatible with your pistol. The compatible system is the SKU: 1000043 or 1000044 for mod 2.
