Unfortunately some short throw safeties and some aftermarket triggers are not compatible. I ran into this issue with the Battle Arms Development safety and multiple Geissele triggers. Unfortunately I believe the only solution is to either stick with a standard 90 degree safety or contact the manufacturer of the trigger and see what short throw safeties they can confirm are compatible.
