Picture is from the front of the sight and not the rear. Refer to profile pic. It is correct. It will offset to the right when behind the sights.

These are for "right handed" shooters which normally tilt their rifle to the right when switching sights. I shoot right handed but tilt my rifle inward, to the left, it feels more comfortable for me that way. So yes, if you are like me, they are backwards
