Yes, the barrels are DPMS Gen 1/LR-308 pattern and should fit the Aero M5 upper receiver

Is this barrel 308-762 NATO and will it fit on a Smith & Wesson m&p 10

The Faxon Firearms .308 Winchester Pencil Rifle Barrel is compatible with DPMS LR308 rifles. It should work with a M&P10. It is not recommended to fire 7.62 NATO out of the Faxon Firearms .308 Winchester Pencil Rifle Barrel.

Will this work on a Rock River LAR-8 .308? I have a 26 inch Rock River stainless that is too heavy and long for hunting especially with a silencer.

In short yes however some minor Gunsmithing could be required to give you the best fit and best chances of good accuracy. We would suggest consulting with a reputable Gunsmith to ensure proper install.
