it is most effective with higher pressure rounds as there is more gas funneling through the ports. Depending on the ammunition used, it can reduce felt recoil by 30-45%

What can I do to silence my 450 ar15 without a actual silencer

Unfortunately, to actually and legally suppress firearm, you need to purchase one through your local gun shop.
