This is for a Russian AK47 correct?

It is not. Even though it is a 7.62x39 barrel, it is designed for the AR-15/M4 platform.

Why does it have a 1:8 twist rate when 7.62x39mm usually has 1:9.5 or 1:10? Isn't that twist rate to fast for the regular 124gr 7.62x39mm?

We have not had any issues with standard 124gr 7.62x39 loads out of these barrels.

What are the specs concerning thread pitch and size on the muzzle

The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24, and you would just want a muzzle device listed with the same thread pitch and compatible with 30 caliber, or 7.62/308.

Barrels don't come with barrel nuts. Handguards do.

Would a gas block from a 556 upper work with this barrel along with the Faxon 7.62x39 gas tube?

These barrels will require a .750" diameter gas block and either a Carbine length gas tube (for the 10.5" barrel) or a Mid-Length gas tube (for the 16" barrel).

Our 7.62x39 barrels have a .308" diameter bore.

Is it safe to shoot .311 bullets through it such as hornady's new sub x round?

Yes, while these barrels do have a .308" bore they can still safely use .310, .311, or .312 diameter projectiles.

Will this work with a CMMG MK47?

Yes, to the best of our knoweldge the CMMG Mk47 uses standard AR-15 pattern barrels so this barrel should work fine.

what size is the gas port

The gas port on the 10.5" length barrel is .081" ±.001" diameter and the port on the 16" length barrel is .093" ± .001" diameter.

The Faxon Firearms 7.62x39 Russian Gunner Rifle Barrel model MPN:15A78C10NGQ is 10.5" in length and features a carbine length gas system. Model MPN:15A78M16NGQ is 16" in length and features a mid-length gas system. Both barrels features a gas journal size of 0.750".
