The total length is 14.5". Because the muzzle device is pinned and welded, it is considered part of the barrel, so it is included in the measurement.

The overall length of this barrel is 16" including the flash hider. However, both previous answers that reference 'pinned and welded' are incorrect as well as the question. The flash hider is NOT pinned/welded on the barrel. The flash hider is INTEGRAL to the barrel and is made as part of the barrel. The flash hider is not a separate device added to the barrel. You can imagine it as a larger bore drilled into the muzzle end of the barrel and then the flash hider slits cut into that.

The muzzle device is pinned and welded to bring the 14.5" barrel to the legal length of 16".
