Is there enough internal diameter to use this with a 338 caliber rifle?

No, the internal bore is not large enough to safely pass a .338 projectile.

What is the diameter of this break where it mates with the barrel?

The OD of the device where it mounts to the barrel is approximately 1 inch.

Can i use this for AR 10?

This will fit your rifle if your rifle has a 5/8-24 thread on the muzzle. You can verify your threads by first measuring the diameter then counting how many threads per inch you have. For instance if you have 1/2 inches of threads and you count 12 threads you would have 24 threads per inch.

Shouldn't this product look virtually identical to Faxon's 5.56 MuzzLok 3-Port brake? Yet, in your picture, I don't see the MuzzLok nut.

Yes, it should but we were not provided an image so this was the stock image that was included. The unit will come with the MuzzLok nut.
