Will this scope work with 308 recoil

Expert Answer

Answered by Ethan, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on March 31, 2022

The Firefield Barrage 2.5-10x40 Rifle Scope are shock proof and feature an aircraft grade 6061-T6 black anodized aluminum tube and 2-piece mount design. It should be able to take .308 recoil without issue. However, the reticle itself (w/BDC) is designed specifically for 55gr .223 and not .308 so the BDC will not translate perfectly with a .308 rifle.
