Does this co witness with standard front sight posts on ar15’s?

Unfortunately Firefield provides no real information in regards to what kind of co-witness it will have, but it is an AR height mount which means it will most likely be a lower 1/3rd co-witness.

Picatinney mount? Okay for 12 gage recoil?

Yes it has a picatinny mount and it should be able to handle the recoil of a 12 gauge shotgun.
