Why are these pants so expensive? I own three other brands which can't be beat, all which cost less. I suggest Duluth Trading's brand.

These are a highly specialized pant featuring 28 specialized pockets, 2-way mechanical stretch with double rip-stop and moisture wicking Defender Fabric, a double-layer knee pad pocket that accepts knee pad inserts, heavy-duty YKK zippers, as well as having added ventilation and strategically placed seams for additional articulation for extreme or unconventional movement. These are not an everyday pant and are designed for use by law enforcement, SWAT, first responders, military contractors and those who need extremely durable, functional, and practical apparel.
