This can be sighted in any time of day or night. It is relatively easy to zero thanks to a boresighting program built into the device.

It is no problem to sight in the daytime...you just need something warmer than the surroundings to aim at. A chemical hand warmer works well...as does steel naturally heated by the sun.

You can sight in this scope during the day time. I am not aware of how easy it is to zero
