can you sight in during the day time and how easy is it to zero in?

This can be sighted in any time of day or night. It is relatively easy to zero thanks to a boresighting program built into the device.

What is the real refresh rate of this optic? On flirs website it says it is 60Hz. And multiple sites including this one says it is 30Hz.????????????

This scope has a 60hz refresh rate (it was recently updated from 30hz by the manufacturer).

Can this detect heat through obstacles such as an intruder behind your bedroom door, or behind a wall in your house?

No, it cannot. It requires a clear line of sight to the target and cannot detect heat through glass or solid objects. The only way it would detect heat through a solid object is if the "target" is putting off enough heat that its changing the temperature of the solid object as well.

Can this also be used during the daytime

Yes, but it can be difficult to use in some scenarios. You will have a difficult time seeing someone if the ground temperature is the same as their body heat, for example. These types of issues rarely last for extended periods of time and you can often work around it by changing the settings.

Human Recognition Range (it's a person) - 335 yards
Human Identification Range (it's my Mother-In-Law) - 205 yards
