Will this work for Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Sport Rimfire Rifle

Manufacturer Answer
A
Answered by Franklin Armory, Manufacturer from NV, United States, on May 11, 2026

The AR-Elite and AR-Essential are designed for Milspec AR platforms. The Smith and Wesson M&P 15/22 comes equipped with a polymer receiver. We have found that many polymer receivers exhibit tolerances outside of the acceptable limits of our trigger. Lowers must be within Milspec parameters to work properly with our triggers.

The BFS AR-Elite and AR-Essential are designed for the Milspec AR platform. Either trigger should function in most Milspec AR platform receivers in multiple calibers. You may need a stronger hammer spring as the one that comes on the AR-Essential is a little lighter than Milspec to have a light trigger pull.
