Will this fit/function in an AR lower? I need it for the SIG SUR300 suppressed upper kit, which adapts the mcx upper to a standard AR lower. — 2 Answers

Yes, this should work with an MCX upper on an AR-15 lower.

So I went ahead and took a shot and just ordered it and it definitely fits perfectly in my Aero Precision ambi lower, and seems to function as well. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot it yet, as my suppressed upper is still in NFA jail, but it functions fine with an AR upper so I cant see it causing an issue in the MCX upper. Even Geissele told me it wouldn’t fit in an AR lower because of the bridge piece and they wont warranty non-MCX triggers used in an MCX because they WILL break around the 3-5 thousand round mark. This seems to be the best (and only) solution to getting a great, and long lasting, trigger in the hybrid AR/MCX platform.
