What type of aluminum is it made of?

I would recommend a shorter handguard to ensure proper fitment with that length barrel.

Can I use this to change the rail on a BCM Upper with a 14.5inch barrel? I want the Desert Dirt colour to match my FDE lower.

The Geissele Super Modular Handguard Rail MLOK MK4 can be installed on a BCM upper using the proprietary barrel nut from Geissele.

As long as you do not exceed the inside diameter of this handguard, which is 1.35"

I do not see any that say 13", I only see the 13.5" model: 1TO-HZ-05-278B
