Re:sling version-using this, will the weapon lie flat across my back,such that the bayonet lug will not orient to dig into the skin(now an issue).

Will this install and work with shockwave with crimson saddle laser ?

No, this will not be compatible with the Crimson Trace laser due to the threaded pin that is used for mounting the laser.

Is it hard to install this on the 590 shockwave?

Not at all. The directions are great and only involves a long trigger pin and a standard screwdriver screw. It is one of the easiest installs for the same type product.
