If it has a DPP footprint, then why does it state that the Vortex RDS do not fit?

This slide was designed before the newest Vortex optics were released (defender ST, defender XL), and the previous version of Vortex's optics were not compatible (doctor cut). The new Vortex optics are absolutely compatible, they just need some custom screws from GGP - For more information, please contact us at service@greyghostprecision.com!

Which optic requires the plate?

The thin shim plates included help accomodate the Trijicon RMR (as well as other optics who share the RMR footprint) and the SIG Romeo 1. The Deltapoint Pro and the SIG Romeo 1 Pro will not require the shim.

Unfortunately not. These slides are only for the Glocks 17 and 19 Gens 3, 4, and 5.
