Hey there, would this work with SB tactical HBPDW brace?

if you get the sbpdw instead of the hbpdw brace, it has a carbine length tube and gives you a ton more spring and buffer options.

Yes with a flatspring or springco blue. Better off with H3 however

is this the Gen 1 or Gen 2 model? The pic is showing the old Gen 1 which has the black tip. The Gen 2 is a white clear color

Yes the ARSOB is designed to fit all AR15 carbine buffer tubes regardless of caliber.

can I use this buffer in a 20" Ruger .308 SFAR?

Yes you can use this in a Ruger SFAR. There may be some tuning required as you are changing the dwell time and cycling pattern.

Does this come with the buffer spring as well?

The Griffin Armament Suppressor Optimized Buffer does not include a buffer spring. It can be used with any carbine length buffer spring and carbine length buffer tube.
