The pencil barrel model has an outside diameter of 0.64 inches. So a 0.625" gas block won't fit over it without a whole lot of grinding and sanding. (This is mainly an issue for states that prohibit threaded barrels and muzzle devices, because you have to "permanently" attach your thread protector.)
