No, this is a slipover shroud application that covers 3.5 inch of barrel. Read the description.
No this can not be used for the stated purpose! A 10.5" AR-15 barrel includes the threaded portion that will be inside the 5.5" fake suppressor. Giving you a total barrel length of 15.5" if permanently attached per B.A.T.F.E. specs. So even if you assume 1/8" for the compressed crush washer you are looking at a project that will eventually land you in a federal correctional facility.
All that is required is pined and welded. Not welded to the barrel. Drill an 1/8” hole in the muzzle device just dimple the barrel round off an 1/8” aluminum rod stock cut it to fit. And get someone that is GOOD at welding aluminum. All they have to do is weld the rod to the device DONE.
Yes. I am doing the same thing for a client on an M5E1 12.5" barrel. Drill, Pin, and Weld. It is aluminum so make sure you know what you are doing welding it to steel.
