The Guntec USA AR-15 Micro Slip Over Barrel Shroud with Multi Port Muzzle Brake measures 3" in overall length. 1.625" of the muzzle device will cover the barrel.

Dose it prevent you from being able to use the mloc slot that it's underneath?

It depends on the hand guard. For me I tried to put a flashlight over it and I couldn’t tighten it down all the way. This muzzle device doesn’t go very far back, so you’ll probably have to put the flashlight or whatever you’re trying to mount further back on the rail.

Will this work on 9mm with 1/2x28 thread? The Guntec website recommends SKU:1326-MB-P-S for AR9 with 1/2 X 28 thread, though description is for AR15.
