This Harris Engineering Model BR Series 1A2 6-9 Bipod attaches using a sling swivel stud. So if you have a picatinny rail on your rifle, you can use the FAB Defense Harris Bipod Aluminum Picatinny Adaptor that will allow you to have a sling stud on your picatinny rail. Or you could just use a Bipod that attaches directly to picatinny rail systems. You can find both options linked below:

I got a MOSSBERG MVP VARMINT 308 24 INCH BARREL and the stock is flat where the sling attachment is . Would this bipod work for me ?

Yes, the bipod will work as long as you are attaching to a sling stud. The bipod has an attachment point that extends to accommodate different stock shapes.
