Will this hunter bottom metal accept magpul magazines ?

The short and medium length Hunter DBM's will accept AICS magazines of any brand. The long action Hunter is proprietary and only works with our long action Hunter magazines.

is this a direct drop in for a remington 700 bdl on a H and S precission stock ?

It will not fit into a BDL inlet. It requires an M5 inlet of your appropriate action length

If your stock has an M5 inlet it will work. If not, you will need to modify the stock.

does this have the aics pattern, like the m5?

The Hunter DBM Bottom Metal is made to fit into an M5 inlet.
Magazine Compatibility:

Short Actions: Hawkins Hunter Magazines / AICS 5 and 10 round 308 (3901 – 5 Round / 3902 – 10 Round)
Long Actions: Hawkins Flush Hunter Magazines (will not work with CIP length AICS, MDT, or Accurate magazines)
