they key on the bottom of the 15in is like 3 to 4 inches apart is the a key mod to picatinny that fits this?

Will the 12in or the 15in handguards fit over a AR-15 Picatinny Rail Gas Block?

No, none of these options from Hera will work with a railed gas block. These will only be compatible with low profile gas blocks.

Does it come with the barrel nut?

The IRS comes with his own barrel nut where the Handguard is clamp mounted with 3 screws for additional strength.
