The HERA Arms AR15 Side Folding Unit Adaptor may work with a PSA AK V with a but I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm compatibility.

I’m building an direct blowback Aero Precision EPC9 and I’m using the HERA stock and foregrip.. will this side folding unit work with that??

The side folding unit has a solid steel core so no recoil into the stock will work. If the upper is a short stroke system where nothing goes into the stock for recoil is could work. It is not designed to work with the CQR stock.

The SFU works with standard AR-15 lower receiver buffer tube threads.

The HERA SFU is a solid core. As long as the rifle does not have any recoil going into the stock it should work. If the bolt carrier group goes rearward it will hit the steel core of the SFU.

What material is this made from, steel of aluminum? Also, is the hinge stiff or will the stock flop around in the open position?

It is mainly aluminum with steel pins. The fully folded position is stiff due to non-locking detents.

What exactly do I need to make this work on a standard AR? Does it require a certain type of buffer tube system?

This will only work on AR platforms that do not require a buffer tube such as .22lr versions. It will not work on piston systems either as those still cycle the full bolt carrier, but do so with a piston instead of gas.
