If you can confirm that the buffer tube on your VR80 is a mil-spec tube and you can successfully remove the one piece stock/grip then this should fit.

You will need the one that says fits Commercial buffer tube for the VR80 as it comes with a commercial tube under the stock.

You will need to buy a new backplate and mil spec buffer tube for this to fit. You use the same spring and parts that's in the commercial buffer tube that comes with the VR80 and transfer it all into the new mil-spec tube. You need a new backplate ($35 or so) for the mil spec tube because the threads are slightly different on what's on the VR80 to a mil-spec. Once you go to a mil spec tube any AR15 buttstock will fit. By the way, get a new Castlenut when you buy the mil spec tube.

I agree with Sean, and Grayson. Everything I've read and watched says the VR80 has a commercial buffer tube, which I believe is about a 1/4" larger in diameter.

The VR80 comes with a commercial buffer tube. You will need to replace that tube with a mil-spec buffer tube
