It will not work with a prism scope. Prism scopes and magnifiers both require a certain amount of eye relief. This means that they will not work properly when lined up in front of each other. Red dot magnifiers are meant specifically for holographic and reflex sights and will NOT work properly with prism red dots/scopes.

I have mine behind a Primary Arms SLX 1X MicroPrism and it's mounted as close as it will go. It works just fine. The reticle is clear... the target is clear... how is that not working?
