Yes, the Holosun HS510C 2 MOA Dot & 65 MOA Circle Feflex Red Dot Sight would most likely be too large to be mounted at a 45 degree offset.

“May not work” is not entirely true. With the right 45 offset mount you can make it work. The trick is to get the right amount of depth with the mount itself. Some are shallow and some are deeper. For example I have this Holosun 510c at a 45 offset with my Vortex strike Eagle LVPO. Initially, it did not work with your typical 45 offset mount, so I did some scoping on Amazon and found the Lions Gears 45 offset picatinny mount. The clearance is minimal but I was able to successfully clear the space and it works with my specific LVPO + canted RDS setup. I believe it will be highly dependent on what you already have going on top of your rail. If Holosun is freely floating, it will work…but I would recommend at least 5 slots to make sure the Holosun RDS can grab fully.
