I don't have this specific unit but I have other lasers from holosun and all the ones I've used/seen use crane leads.

What’s the key differences between this and the older model? LS420 differences?

This one has titanium body; LS420 is 7075 aluminum.

Is the white light focusable or is it just the IR light ?

Only the IR illuminator is focusable; the white light is not.

Will this unit work in front of an Eotech Transverse EXPS2, or will it block my point of view?

Not as much as i expected. It’s about the same height as the bottom of the window of an Eotech exps 2. It barely blocks a tiny amount of the field of view if mounted directly in front of the sight but the further forward you mount it on the hand guard, the more it will block your view because of the angle of the bottom of your your line of sight. It’s low enough to use back up irons over it, but i am going to use a riser for my Eotech so it doesn’t interfere with my field of view at all.

Will this work in front of the Holosun HS512C red dot optic? Or will this Holosun laser block my point of view from behind the Holosun HS512C red dot?

Yes it can. However you can mount this on bottom or on the side of the firearm if it has a picatinny rail on the handguard.

I'm not sure about the candela, but it does put out 600 lumens. according to Holosuns website
