HS515CM is slightly lighter, at 3.53 oz. But other than that they are basically the same sight.

CM has solar panel and the controls and a battery slot are on side, the GM has no solar and controls are on top, with traditional capped battery cover on right side.

I have both. Pretty much the same except for solar, and battery placement. Don't like the looks of the battery section of the GM, but it's a LOT easier to change and you don't need any tools to change it like you do on the CM.

The CM model is solar backup power. And the battery is located in different locations.
