I have plenty of torx and assorted bits already and didn’t need another larger set just to get the torque wrench I needed for my mount. Fix It sticks is fast, easy and convenient in my cleaning tray.
I constantly struggled with a confusing sight picture until I lifted my new Eotech with the Unity mount above the front irons. Very solid mounting fasteners are Torx 25. Consider having a fixit sticks or similar as well.
Everyone I know with a .300 blk who is trying to shoot suppressed want’s subsonic ammo. Problem generally requires trying different brands until finding one that cycles ALL the time. For me, this does. Next, my local dealer stocks it at a similar price but is sold out often and makes driving 10 miles for nothing make free shipping even better. Took about 4 days to have in hand. Plan ahead.
This subsonic ammo has the perfect balance of weight and powder because I never have failure to feed or failed ejections. Great price for .300 blackout and free shipping is nicer than having to drive around and look for it.
Best there is. My 2nd RMR. Adjustable 6.5 MOA dot is model to get if you want an easy to find sight picture. Don’t forget the sealing plate. Not sure why it’s not included. The battery lasts forever so while I prefer they relocate it, my experience on my first RMR just means I have an excuse to go shooting to confirm. Buy a laser bore cartridge and dial RMR to your desired zero distance of 15-25 yds or so and then confirm.
Very easy to adjust. Can use the sling for many positions. Not heavy. I was able to trim the excess and melted the ends. Helps keep rifle near shoulder and pointed down. I think the QD mounts with swivels work great.
I bought this mount because it was in stock during these crazy buy it just in case days. I really wasn’t planning on a QD mount for a new Aimpoint T2 as it was going to be zeroed and left alone. After mounting and attaching to rail, I realized I wasn’t 100% sure what slot I wanted. It is so solid and easy to move. I’ll never trust a lever again. Makes removing sight to clean the gun super easy.
I was able to buy this inexpensive QD attachment conversion to swap out the standard pincher clasp. Nothing that magpul makes is low quality except their directions for slings. Plan on visiting YouTube for some visuals to assist in buckle placement.
These are genuine OEM items for Daniel Defense carbine tubes but I’d imagine almost any mil spec tube will accept. The color and texture is very cool, more bronze than FDE. They also make a grip to match.
