The description says “parallax-free”,but the red dot I received is definitely NOT parallax-free.The red “dot” is also more like a smudge. This Normal? — 3 Answers

If the red dot looks like a smudge, you might have what is called a stigmatism which blurs those types of dots, I have a stigmatism and experience the same thing.

If the dot does not look like almost a red pinpoint, it's you. An eye appointment to check for astigmatism and glasses will help. Unfortunately, most contact lenses don't usually address astigmatism issues. BTW, "astigmatism" is one word.

Try keeping both eyes open and focus on your target rather than the dot. When I do this, the dot is crisp and clear but if I focus on the dot itself it looks like a firework explosion.
