Will fit a Smith&Wesson M&P 45 2.0

The HYVE Technologies S&W M&P Shield Monarch Trigger System is not compatible with the 2.0 or performance center M&P line of handguns. It is only compatible with the Smith & Wesson Shield 9mm, .40, .45.

No. The HYVE Technologies S&W M&P Shield Monarch Trigger System will not fit the Shield Plus. The Shield Plus got a redesigned trigger that is not interchangeable between the standard shield.

No. The HYVE Technologies S&W M&P Shield Monarch Trigger System will not fit the Shield Plus. The Shield Plus got a redesigned trigger that is not interchangeable between the standard shield. Unfortunately, we do not currently carry triggers compatible with the Shield Plus.

My Shield has a thumb safety . I have seen video that says the trigger bar needs to be filed down to allow the safety to work. Is that right?

Yes,you may need to remove a slight amount of material on the safety bar per there recommendations. This is to allow proper fit and operation of the safety.

In the color listing, ie Tan/Black, which color is the trigger and which color is the middle insert piece?

The first color is the trigger shoe (the outer part), the second color is the insert part.
