Is the muzzle device pinned and welded or can I remove to install my own muzzle break?

Yes the muzzle device is threaded on and can be removed if needed. I wend ahead and ordered it and verified myself

Jacob Grey Firearms does not provide the weight of their Complete Upper Assembly. I would recommend contacting them directly for more information.

It appears this 9mm upper may be a "buffer-less" design. Am I seeing this correct, or will the lower still require a buffer tube assembly?

The Jacob Grey Firearms 9mm Complete Upper Assembly will still need to be used with a lower that has a compatible buffer assembly.

Yes, the Jacob Grey Custom 9mm Complete Upper Assembly will include a 9mm bolt carrier group, JG 9mm 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel barrel, JG ambidextrous charging handle and JG knurled 6 point directional compensator.

Jacob Grey Custom does not provide the internal diameter of the handguard on the 9mm Complete Upper Assembly. I would recommend reaching out to them directly for more information.
