The JP Enterprises EnhancedBolt 9mm AR Bolt Carrier Group Kit - JP Standard Silent Capture Spring should work fine in a Aero Precision EPC9. The JP Enterprises EnhancedBolt 9mm AR Bolt Carrier Group Kit - JP Standard Silent Capture Spring will replace the buffer system in the EPC9.

Is this what they consider a blow back bolt?

Yes, this JP Enterprises EnhancedBolt 9mm AR Bolt Carrier Group Kit is a blowback style bolt. A blowback style bolt doesn't lock up in the chamber like a traditional AR15 bolt. So when the gun is fired the the force and expanding gases force the bolt back instead of gas being forced down a gas tube like in a traditional AR15 gas system.

Jp has a special scs for the law tactical folding stock but they say it's for a standard AR15. Do you know for sure if this will work with the folder?

This is optimized for the Glock style. Per the manufacturer: This bolt assembly is not compatible with Colt SMG-style lowers and magazines.
