Does this include the firing pin, and gas tube?

This barrel does include the bolt and firing pin as they have been properly headspaced. The gas tube is separate.

Is this compatible with the M5 upper?

The M5 upper is DPMS/LR308. This barrel is DPMS though the bolt is headspaced for Armalite, so you will still need a full BCG.

Can you confirm that this barrel is the older version that requires 0.936” gas block in lieu of the newer barrel that takes 0.875” gas block?

How long of a hand guard is required to cover the gas block? Or is there any measurements on gas block location on this barrel?

The gas system is 2" longer than standard rifle length gas system.

This barrel requires and extra long gas tube. According to the manufacturer's website the gas tube is "+2 from rifle length".

Does this barrel work with DPMS or Armalite receivers?

The barrel itself is DPMS style. The barrel can be used in an Armalite as well, as long as the provided bolt is used. That bolt is for the Armalite headspacing.
