The KAK Extended 1/2-28 Flash Can does not feature a pin-hole that can be used for pinning and welding to your firearm.

It's aluminum, so easy enough to drill. There is plenty of material thickness on the wrench flats to drill an off-center hole which would slightly pass through the barrel threads. Have it professionally drilled by a qualified gunsmith. The pin would lock the device to the threads of the barrel. Then aluminum weld up the hole on one end of the pin. The pin cannot be removed. Pinned and welded to prevent pin removal. And no unnecessary spot heating of your barrel trying to braze aluminum to steel.
