The buffer in this kit is meant for a .223/5.56 and not 9mm. You would need a 9mm buffer.

It is NOT marked in any way, but it is 3.0 oz right on the nose. Is a "carbine weight buffer".

It will only fit with some type of buffer tube adapter as the buffer tube is required for installation.
