If I have the Shockwave 1.0 blade and buffer tube will I also need new tube for 2.0 or are they the same?

Both use the same Mil-Spec tube.

No, the KAK Shockwave 2M Blade requires a carbine length mil-spec buffer tube in order to install to your pistol.

Do you need the KAK proprietary buffer tube with the elongated holes for this to adjust?

This fits onto a standard MIl-Spec buffer tube. This is adjustable on a standard Mil-Spec buffer tube.
