Yes, this Kaw Valley Precision Linear Compensator will work with 7.62x39.

Is there a misprint or is this for a metric threaded barrel? I have 1/2x28 barrel and doubt this will fit. Can you confirm plz?

The threads on these models of the Kaw Valley Precision Linear Compensators are correct, they are left handed threads. The 9mm model of the Kaw Valley Precision Linear Compensator with 1/2x28 threads can be found at the link below.

The Kaw Valley Precision Linear Compensator 9mm Caliber has an overall length of 2 1/16", and an outside diameter of 0.95". It also weighs 2.9 oz.
