The Kensight DAS 1911 Defense Adjustable Rear Sight will fit into the Novak style sight cut. 65 Degree x 0.495"

Will this sight fit a Remington R1

It depends on which model R1 you have. The base model R1 has a factory GI-cut rear sight, this Kensight rear sight would not be compatible as a replacement.
