The item numbers must match the piston, not the barrel length of the gun. Measure the working length (WL) and the hole distance (HD) of the piston as shown in the page diagram, and more fully explained on the KNS website: https://knsprecisioninc.com/product/ak-adjustable-gas-piston/
This alone will determine which item number to choose.
Yes, it will fit both generations of ACE, which use identical pistons.
