The satisfying feel you get when you pick up a Trybe binocular starts before you even touch it, with the way it is packaged. The box is attractive, sophisticated, and modern, and the lid has a magnetic flap. No wasted money here, just good smart function.
Take the binocular out of its semi hard case and let it nestle by itself into just the right places in your hands. It feels great. Notice it is remarkably light for its size, and how quick it comes to your eyes. It has a slightly textured feel to it and it grips your hands without being uncomfortable. Your first fingers automatically fall on the focus knob and you’ll notice how silky smooth it feels while adjusting it. The forest green color on its magnesium body is soothing and classy. The diopter adjustment is located in just the right place.
When you take your first view through these glasses you’ll gasp at the things you never knew you were missing. I was shocked at the performance of these binoculars. The images are as bright as the sky, as colorful as a box of crayons, and feel so comfortable up to your eyes you’ll want to keep them there for hours. It almost feels like you’ve been missing out up until this point. Much of it has to do with the exceptional eye relief, but also with the fact that the eyecups protrude farther out than other binoculars, allowing you to comfortably rest the eyecups to your face, steadying your gaze. These are a superb choice for eyeglass wearers due to the excellent eye relief. The addit

My first experience with the Armasight Contractor was when it was “issued to me” in the swamps of Louisiana on a pig hunt. It was on a borrowed AR in .5.56 with an effective suppressor the guides kept handy as part of a ready arsenal for paying customers. There were a variety of calibers and guns represented, but all were ARs, and all were easy to shoot for hunters of all skill and experience levels.
When a group of swampy pig guides keep a Contractor around is pretty good cred in my book.
Late afternoon we went out and I got volunteered into sighting in this rig, since it was just mounted on this new gun with the suppressor.
It was over 90F and sunny and my pores were leaking. It was just under 200% humidity. We drove out to a field where our road split the acreage until it met the sky. A framed target fixture about 4 foot square stood about 25 yards away and held thick cardboard backing and remnants of weathered and bullet-riddled targets. Many of these targets were reflective, such as Armasight sight in Targets, or strips of metal cans, but there were also strips of metal HVAC tape stuck anywhere and everywhere. Rolls of this tape are affordable targets and they’re darn convenient. Tarnished and bullet-punctured ribbons of the tape, separated from its once sticky backing moved slightly in the light breeze but not enough to cool my soppy wet head under my cap.
So they sat me down on a rickety metal bench with an even ricketier metal chair that barely held my weight. L

Comes in standard canvas zipper belt bag with normal accessories. I have the white phosphor version with filmless L-3 tube. L-3 is arguably the best tube manufacturer in the world, and along with Elbit, supplies our military with night vision, including the PVS-14.
My included Test Data sheet shows a tube with a Figure Of Merit (FOM) of 1862, and I'm quite happy with that. I know how good tubes can get, and I also know that the functional difference between a high FOM tube and a lower FOM tube can be zero, most of the time. Exports to most of the world have a FOM of 1600 max, so I know with an 1862 I have a significantly better performing product than is globally available. Even for little old me, God bless the USA!
It's very difficult to tell the difference between tubes with higher FOM and lower FOM unless they are next to each other to compare with. Just like with daytime optics, when you get to a certain point, you start to expend larger and larger amounts of money for just the tiniest and tiniest of performance increase. And that performance increase will probably not be noticeable to you except in your wallet.
Individual data sheet numbers revealed more important specifications about the DNA in my monocular, as every unit is unique in performance. Artifacts, or spots in the viewing area can be large or small, or in different zones in your field of view. Signal to Noise, Photocathode Sensitivity, Gain, and some other specifics that I don’t understand tend to hurt my b

Stellar one piece minimalist aluminum chassis, barreled action bolts right into body for increased accuracy and usability.
I replaced the stock on my Savage 10FCP McMillan with this stock. Yep, I replaced an expensive McMillan stock with this TRYBE aluminum chassis. Although this McMillan stock was considered the best of its time when I bought it, it was not glass-bedded, and it was not on pillars, both which can increase accuracy in general.
So I hung that gorgeous spider-webbed big black stock on a peg and installed this aluminum race car with the TRYBE logo on it. I chose OD green.
Installation was simple as pie and as satisfying a seamless fit as you can imagine, since it's simply bolted, metal-on-metal for a perfect interface that won't warp or change your point of impact regardless of temperature or humidity. It's a livelier stock than most solid aluminum stocks, and it's less complicated because it offers only length and comb adjustments, whereas other stocks have myriad available adjustments that frankly, are not always needed, and cause some to mess with their settings ad infinitum rather than practicing fundamental shooing form. Often, more adjustments on a chassis may be a detriment because it takes away the realization that it's the shooter, mainly, not just your equipment that needs to perform.
The machining is gorgeous and so is the Cerakote. I see zero machine marks anywhere, and the polymer trigger housing is also attractive and installed with a roll pi

My first TRYBE DIMA 1000 experience was in combination with the TRYBE LEO 1-8x24 scope. These two products work with each other, so the yardage read by the DIMA 1000 is displayed directly in the field of view of your riflescope while aiming!
I installed the scope and mount on what is labeled #2, a TRYBE .300 BLK heavy nitride barrel with A2 bird cage. It shoots everything well and is an excellent candidate to use for this test because of the huge trajectory of the subsonic .300 BLK cartridge.
I installed the 1-8 scope using the included TRYBE mount and the accessory picatinny ring half it came with. This is where the DIMA would go, mounted directly on top of my riflescope mount with the 30mm accessory ring half. I bore sighted it across the shop at about 20 yards and later took it out for a spin at the range, sighting it in at 50 yards. The LEO has excellent optics and adjustments and I tell you, it sure looks and performs just like a Strike Eagle with a cooler reticle that can be used for both 223 and 308 cartridge families.
After cleaning I installed the DIMA in its 30mm ring onto the accessory pic rail on top of the scope and leveled it by eye. I removed the little screw covering the integral laser in the objective of the DIMA, just under the emitter and receiving windows of the rangefinder. My scope had been sighted in and I measured the DIMA’s optical center at about 2 inches about the scope’s optical center.
I attached the remote pressure pad the scope came with.

I have this upper to shoot all .300 BLK ammo. I got the complete upper with basic black nitride coating and A2 bird cage. Shoots sub and supersonic loads interchangeably without a hiccup. Solid handguard with M-Lok slots for accessories. This upper has installed on it the TRYBE DIMA/LEO scope/rangefinder combination and it's the perfect sighting instrument to use with the rainbow trajectory of slow subsonics. I love the versatile .300 BLK cartridge and it was the best way to get into an reliable upper without breaking the bank. I keep my nitride guns on the wet side and recommend we all do. I've found no extraordinary BCG wear during cleanings, everything looks happy. Good solid performer to blast this great modern little 30 caliber cartridge.

Rugged-looking upper in 5.56 with heavy nitride barrel, A2 flash hider, M-Lok handguard, and basic BCG and charging handle. Runs like a champ. Gun keeps zero better than thin barrels when hot. Love that it eats all .223 and 5.56 loads. Handguard looks all business and is free-floated with anti-rotational tabs. BCG is machined nicely and all parts including the barrel clean well. Upper is 100% reliable with all loads. Have used this one with both a TRYBE 3X SLED Prism sight and a 4x ACOG with reticle for XM193 loads. Love the ACOG, a gold standard for sure, but pricey. The SLED 3x prism is as tough as this upper and seems like a good match. The whole rig is simple and easy with good performance and no drama. Cleans well but I keep it wet to prevent corrosion. 1 in 7 prefers heavier projectiles. Great value.

Perfect brake for a target gun, too heavy for field use. Unbelievable effectiveness in reducing recoil to the shoulder.
Not a chunk of metal with some milling in it that anyone can do, but a meticulously designed brake specifically made to reduce the maximum amount of recoil possible, and it does that well. This is a gorgeous muzzle brake and obviously quite sophisticated. The angles on the internal shoulders on this are a thing of beauty. The functionality of this piece has turned into art. After a few hundred rounds, look at the symmetry of the escaping gas fouling in the four sections of the brake, it's beautiful. It comes with shims, which is a better way than a crush washer to install a precision muzzle device. It has a flat on top of the brake and is easy to install and time. I will be using another one of these on an upcoming 6.5 Grendel build and expect to not lose any targets through my scope upon recoil. This is an impressive looking product that has maximum recoil-reducing properties. But it's loud and the concussion is ever-present. The blast will certainly get your attention and maybe the shooters beside you. Super-effective brake.

I have this nickel-boron BCG in my Remington R-25 in .308 Winchester. I replaced the OEM blue BCG with the TRYBE nickel-boron version since the old bolt was getting sloppy and harder to clean. This one works like a silver jackhammer into my chamber, just perfectly. This gun is pretty big as carry guns go, and the bolt of a large frame AR is a hefty chunk of steel. This BCG has a beautiful silver finish and cleans easily after an outing. This is a hunting gun mostly, and a corrosion resistant BCG lets me get by with a bit less maintenance in the field than a nitride BCG. But for a build, the less-expensive nitride bolt may be the way to go. Oiling everything before and after use makes cleaning easy, especially with any number of modern CLP liquids.
